Crossmatching both parts of a double RBC collection by apheresis
A blood banker at a donor center in the Midwest asks if the issue of whether it is necessary to crossmatch both parts of a double red cell (automated RBC by apheresis) collection been addressed by AABB? What is the current standard of practice?
