Where do hospitals store 'oxygen therapeutics' solutions (blood substitutes)?
A colleague in California works at a facility that supports a 'transfusion-free' surgery program. The hospital is interested in evaluating one of the oxygen therapeutics solutions. The facility is wondering where other facilities store oxygen therapeutics solutions (i.e., the blood bank, pharmacy or some other location) and what factors entered into their decision.
