Experience with benchmarking data to improve local practices in transfusion medicine

A colleague and member of the College of American Pathologists Transfusion Medicine Resource Committee (TMRC) thought that the e-network forum might be interested in three recently published studies of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) that review current practices in the following areas of transfusion medicine.

The TMRC member wonders if other colleagues have used benchmarking data like those in the above studies to improve their local practices?
