We apologize for the incovenience during the recent downtime from May 19-22, 2012 experienced as a result of a sooner than expected server migration. The original plan scheduled this migration to occur within the next few weeks. However, there was an urgent need to shut down the previous server immediately last Friday night. This server supported us faithfully for 9 years, which far exceeds the average server life expectancy.
So that we may bring the majority of the functionality back quickly, it requires us to bring the site live without 100% full functionality. The most notable impact is in the CBBS members's area, which is currently under a MAJOR renovation. Many new features will be available with the launch of this area, inlcuding the ability to manage one's mership contact information, password, current membership renewal status, integrated meeting registration data, and the ability to connect to other members directly through the website..
We will also be able to manage the sending of emails directly from our server rather than requiring use of a mailing list provider. You will now be able to subscribe to CBBS email newsletters directly on the CBBS wesbite.
